Change at Coxeter House

South East Workwear have expanded their design, embroidery and print studios, taking over space from Remade Guitars.
Remade Guitars have relocated to Dolgellau, but will be back with a monthly pop-up repair service in Glasshouse Studios in Cumnor.

Opened in 1994, South East Workwear specialise in workwear and school uniforms, and designs on clothes for business or personal use.
Christmas Tree Recycling

I watched people bring their Christmas trees to the town council staff on the Market Place today. One staff member would snip off any awkward branches, and the other would plunge the tree into a hopper.

From out of the shredder, debris was blasted into a pile of wood chip and needles in the back of the council truck. It had been reduced back to basics which could be recycled as mulch.

There were others like me who stopped to watch, for a minute or two, what has become an annual ritual in Abingdon on Thames.
This year Christmas Tree recycling coincided with Twelfth Night – which is either the 5th or 6th of January, depending where you start counting from.
Aldi and Hilton could be neighbours in Abingdon

This week there is an article in the Abingdon Herald saying that Aldi will be coming to the Fariracres Retail Park if they can get planning permission.

Presumably that will be in the unit vacated by Beales last year.

Over the road holes have been drilled for the pilings for the redevelopment of the Oxford Abingdon Hotel as a Hilton.
Aldi is a global chain of over 10,000 supermarkets based in Germany.
Hilton is a global chain of over 570 hotels and resorts based in the USA.
